The new media tool I’m going to use this week is a website and an app and can be found at http://www.Deliscious.com .  I wish I had found out about this sooner! It’s a social bookmarking web service used on the cloud. It enables the user to access their bookmarks from any computer. But even more than that it allows sharing and discovering other bookmarks from other users.  It also allows you to do what’s called ‘stacking’ which is basically creating links of sites on similar topics. Like we could create and History and Theory of New Media stack and collectively share our bookmarks.  Great idea professor to add to this course in the future! Like any social media site there is a ‘hotlist’ on the homepage of recent pages.  I signed up just recently through my Google+ email and it was pretty simple.

The below link is an article that talks about using Delicious to track a company’s mentions on the internet. Seems this app has multiple uses.
